Maryland’s primary elections are coming up! Here are some important dates to keep in mind ahead of our primary election:
- Early Voting: Thursday, June 11th through Thursday June 18th, 2026
- Last Day to Request Mail-In Ballot: Tuesday, June 16th, 2026
- Primary Election Day: Tuesday, June 23rd, 2026
It’s important that LGBTQ+ Marylanders are involved in our elections because elected officials have a huge impact on the way we all live our daily lives. Leaders in the fight for state-wide equality vote for inclusive policy, and it's by us voting them into office that we give them the chance to help make Maryland truly inclusive for all.
FreeState Equality endorses candidates running in Maryland Governor, State Senate, House of Delegates, and County Executive races who have a proven track record for supporting LGBTQ+ equality and defending the rights of marginalized communities throughout this state.
